Sometimes when you’ve got the right elements in foreground, mid ground, and background it looks like you’ve taken a still from a movie.  Different colour palettes make for different moods in a film, my personal favourites being a slightly washed out look, a film noire, and rarely a more Hollywood split-toned style.  there are many layers of activity going on in each shot, the density is quite high.  All photos taken in Venice, Nagoya, Tokyo, and Toronto with either a Ricoh GRII or a Nikon D810 with Carl Zeiss lenses.
