My favourite time for photography is in the city after the sun has set. A location looks completely different after dark, especially with the myriad of light sources which mankind has created. Different colour temperatures can make for spectacularly garish lighting, or combine with the last evening light to make something sublime. Along with a change in lighting comes a change in activity. People drop their daytime masks and under the cloak of night engage in an entirely different set of activities, nocturnal pursuits ranging from the spiritual to the suspicious. This set of photos was shot with the Fujifilm X-T2 and Ricoh GR II in Quebec City, Kingston, Vienna, Venice, Nagoya, and Niigata.
